Code of Conduct

The board has the option to terminate individuals' involvement in committees if they; are violent, engage in discriminatory or sexual behavior, consistently fail to meet their responsibilities, violate agreements, act unethically, misuse committee resources, misuse the EUnitas office, display persistent unprofessional conduct, engage in harassment or bullying, engage in fraud or consistent lying or violate the fiances of EUnitas and/or act in a manner detrimental to the committee's objectives.

The board also has the option to terminate other board members if they; are violent, engage in discriminatory or sexual behavior, consistently fail to meet their responsibilities, violate agreements, act unethically,  misuse committee resources, misuse the EUnitas office, display persistent unprofessional conduct, engage in harassment or bullying, engage in fraud or consistent lying or violate the fiances of EUnitas or act in a manner detrimental to committee's or the board.

Confidential Advisor

One board member and one committee member can apply to become a confidential advisor (CA). They are highly advised to undergo training (either via Maastricht University or outside). Their task is to remain impartial concerning board, committee, or personal issues. Additionally, if EPH students or other general members encounter issues they can contact the confidential advisor to discuss them. If an issue is severe or breaks the code of conduct it is highly advised to make an appointment with a student advisor or UM psychologist or advise the student to make an appointment. The confidential advisors are not part of the board (unless they are a board-elected CA) and therefore cannot attend board meetings or discuss issues without the consent of the board. The CA needs to have an impartial relationship and opinion when issues are brought up and if issues are severe they have the option to step out.

*Confidential advisors are not psychologists or therapists and cannot be liable for advice.*
