ABOUT US

EUnitas is the study association for all Bachelor European Public Health students at Maastricht University. The association was established in August 2009 and offers opportunities for professional development, networking, and social activities, aiming to create a fun and inclusive environment for both its members and all of the BEPH students. Within EUnitas students of all years can join committees and eventually join the board as well. As of 2025, the 4 committees are; the Public Relations (PR) Committee, Education Committee, Community Networking Committee, and Events Committee. There is a dedicated board member for the PR committee and education committee. The community networking and events committee is given to any other respective board member. The community networking and events committees are usually divided among the president and vice president. However, there is the possibility to assign a dedicated board role and member for these committees, this is up to the designated board. Applications for the committees are done 2-3 times in an academic year. As a rule of thumb, the new board members (after coming into their positions in January) start their first applicant intake around February and then in September/October of the following academic year. The committees are designed to organize events, promote the study, and discuss matters of the study with the coordinators and faculty as a whole.
